Massive Wind Storm Annihilates Beaverdell and Surrounding Areas

A massive wind storm blew through Beaverdell and the surrounding areas between 3:00pm – 3:30pm, knocking over many trees, downing powerlines and ultimately leaving some residents without power for 3 days.

Several buildings were spared in town, with Addie’s Ice Cream parlour having a near miss with a large downed tree, and the building next to it escaping some damage itself.
