Tentative Ski Hill Opening Dates 2025

Even with the mild autumn temperatures in Okotoks, the colder conditions in the mountains have resulted in additional snowfall, enabling several Canadian ski resorts to commence their operations earlier than usual.
Banff Sunshine Village kicked off the 2025–26 ski season on Sunday, November 1, becoming the first ski area in Canada to open its slopes this year. This also marks the earliest opening date in the resort’s history.
Lake Louise Ski Resort officially began its season on Tuesday, November 4.
Nakiska is scheduled to open on November 29 but will offer preview weekends from November 8 to 11, November 15 to 16, and November 22 to 23.
Mount Norquay provided a sneak preview this past weekend and is tentatively planning to open for the season on Saturday, November 15.
